Albums
Toto's discography consists of 13 studio albums and four live albums. There are also compilations. In addition to releasing original music, Toto has also done collaborations with other artists and on soundtracks for films. Toto has won numerous Grammy Awards for their work.
Before the formation of Toto the group, members worked as session work for other musicians. Drummer Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate and keyboardist David Paich (the son of session percussionist Marty Paich and brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro) played on Boz Scaggs' 1975 album Silk Degrees. Toto was formed in the year 1976 in the wake of the collaboration.
Toto's third album, Turn Back, marked an abrupt departure from the progressive sound of their earlier efforts and was criticized for the lack of hit singles. In 1985 the group's lead singer Fergie Fredericksen quit The band held auditions to choose a new frontman. Guitarist Steve Lukather was chosen, and the group recorded their 1986 album Fahrenheit.
Toto released Toto XX in 1998 to celebrate its 20th anniversary. 안전놀이터 추천 went through old recordings and tapes to create the unique record. The album was well-received by fans and Toto embarked on the tour with former members Bobby Kimball Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.
Shem Von Schröck replaced Leland Sklar as the drummer during the tour in support of the 40 Trips Around the Sun album. In 2017, Toto released a double-CD live set titled Falling in Between, which included live recordings from the tour and an interview with the band.

Toto is a rock band from the United States that was formed in Van Nuys in Greater Los Angeles in 1977. During the tour, lead vocalist Bobby Kimball was arrested on drug charges. The band decided to let him leave at the conclusion of the tour, and they hired singer/guitarist Joseph Williams in his place. David Hungate, the drummer was also let go following the tour. He was replaced by bassist Leland Sklar.
The TOTO Museum is a futuristic structure with a variety of exhibition rooms that are dedicated to presenting the story of the company and its most innovative products. Toto has released a variety of music videos. The group has released a number of compilation videos and DVDs. The most popular video for the band is "Africa", which has more than a billion views on YouTube. The video takes place in a library, and shows the band performing in front of a stack of books about Africa.
The track "Africa" is from the album Toto IV. The song was written by band members and produced by David Paich. It was a huge hit in Europe as well as other countries. The single's success helped Toto gain popularity after their previous album, Turn Back, failed to chart in the United States.
Toto embarked on a worldwide tour after the release of their album. The group was joined by touring backing musicians Lenny Castro, Shannon Forrest, Warren Ham and Shem von Schroeck. In addition guitarist Steve Lukather released his second solo album, Luke.
In 1985, Fergie Frederiksen, Toto's drummer, left the group for personal reasons. Toto decided to hold an audition, and ultimately chose Joseph Williams to replace Frederiksen.
Prior to and during the creation of Toto its members, they did sessions for various artists. Toto was created following Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate and Boz Scaggs recorded Silk Degrees. Keyboardist Paich was regular on albums by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.
In 1998, Toto started working on a project entitled Old Is New. This album included three new tracks, as well as a number of finished recordings of songs from the past. The album was a hit all over the world and the band went on a world tour to promote the album.
